There seems to be a global salary review, how is everyone doing. After going through a few teams, I can safely say there is an overwhelming favorite for the MBBA title this season and it isn't me. :)

Still waiting for good draftees to be listed. Locals of course.

Wow... looks like they bumped the salary for PGs.
Ginakia's PG went up to $144K while TooCool went up to$90K

The increase in player salary in definitely insane. Based on my tracking of top 8 player salary, here are the top 8 Season 12 MBBA teams (All of which salaries are all above $300K for top 8 players).

1. Ginakia ($503K)
2. Red Devils ($460K)
3. PeeJay Reds ($382K)
4. Ampang Stuporsonics ($378K)
5. KMC RA ($350K)
6. Too Cool ($345K)
7. Damientor ($336K)
8. Arowana Kings ($311K)

Really wondering how Ginakia and Red Devils can afford such a heavy salary. Looks painful. Ouch!

Those are some telling figures. Ginakia has got on average a 150k wage difference on the rest of the teams, minus RedDevilz. Just to put it in perspective on how big a 150k wage gap is, last season it's the difference of the team ranked 1 and the team in position 6. Top spot and relegation playoff. It's huge.

This season it's gonna be Ginakia, RedDevilz and then the rest of the chasing pack.

Salary revision is still scaled based on criteria that we are familiar with, just that top end players are now more expensive.

Due to changes in training patterns, it looks like the salary scale will be somewhat higher next season than it is this season. We expect the salaries to be around 10-15% higher at the top end. Also, as previously announced, players will continue to come out of retirement occasionally in order to help regulate prices. One change for this season's batches is that most players will have aged during their absence.

I have some non-trained players around and the 10-15% increase seems about right. It's definitely painful for everyone hiring top talent.

Player strength is still best indicated by salary. Team strength is the sum of it's parts, which is your overall team salary. Safe to say, generally the team with the higher salary bill is the stronger team. The only reason that you might not think your team is stronger than mine is probably because we have not seen that monster Center in action yet. That's a 150k difference from last season right there. ;)

Another observation.

The top 4 teams in terms of total salary, together with Damientor in position 7, are all in the Great 8. I hate my conference.

I am praying very, VERY hard to don't meet RedDevilz or Ginakia in the Malaysia Cup. I don't want to get kicked out so early.
