Hey fellas, quick question about training. I'm training guards and will keep doing so for another 3, 4 seasons. Last year I manly trained a PG prospect, and this year I bought a PG and a SG prospect. I want to train them both to establish my backcourt for when I turn to training inside men. The thing is, is it possible to train PG and SG simultaneously? Because the required skillset is a little different. They already have initial skills that set them apart (PG has better passing, SG has better driving, etc), but I wonder if I will be able to do this successfully.

Any thoughts? Has anyone ever done this?

yeah i did it last season as my 1st season, 6 players 2 position. i got everyone from $3000+ to $7000+ weekly salary with balanced training with a bit higher priority on OD. everyone ended with at least Average in all 6 guard skills and up to Proficient in OD etc.

Thanks for your feedback. I expect that to happen, you end up with all around guards that can both shoot and pass, and specially good perimeter defenders. Also one of them has lower potential so if he hits the cap first then I can focus on the other one.

Anyone else?

Perhaps if they all end up as better PGs after a season or so, you could just sell your least favorites in exchange for SGs of a similar level. Then focus on a more SG focused training for their benefit to get a more diverse set of guards in the long run.

What better to have a SG with high passing?
