Just out of curiousity, has there ever been rumours about a "secret" or unshown player stat that basically affects how effective that player is?

I ask because I have noticed that despite having good ratings, game shape, etc. they seem to be pretty consistently outperformed by lesser players at same game shape and lower DMI. Of course it matters who is defending the player, but sometimes it is even at the same position I see a difference.

Maybe I am not looking at the right metrics to compare but just wondering if this has been noticed by anyone else.

I once had a guy like that too. Very average skills but just seemed to produce.

Horacio is a 6'7" PG. His length makes him fit the PF category as well.

I've also noted players seem to fit some positions better then others. Better than what could be expected from their stats.

There has also been some talk about an "aggressiveness" stat. Some players just seem to always make more fouls then others. I guess there could be some more hidden stats, like "Talent" (perhaps this skill is even present per position) or "Team Player".
