Which one do you like better, America?
List your pros and cons of each here.

Buzzerbeater
Pros

Training arrows - love those
The fact that it is an American sport
Games are much more fun to read
Fast pace - Starting in hattrick can take three to four seasons at least to start promoting. I promoted in half a season in BB.
Training options
Home game every week (for most weeks and players)
Potential - I know most will think this is a con....but it makes the game more intriguing.
Game Shape reset in offseason
The Draft System
Playoffs instead of qualifiers
Oh...did I mention training arrows?

Cons
Forum layout - come on now...we all know this already
Just navigating overall....it took me several days to figure out where each link was
Supporter - Maybe it's just me...but it just doesn't seem like I need supporter to enjoy this game. Not sure what it is missing....but I just don't feel compelled to buy it.
Needing to buy American players if I want merchandising money

Hattrick
Pros

Takes a lot more thinking/strategy to succeed in that game (not that I have succeeded in either game yet)
Forums are perfect
Counter Attacks
Injuries are easier to get rid of and evade
Don Robinson - Our awesome U-20 coach who made u-20 games so fun this season

Cons
Our beloved Swedish game makers who love torturing USA.
Games are boring 9 out of ten times
Hellas 3 - USA 2 (okay, not a con of the game...but it sucked anyway)
No training arrows (gosh I love those)
Background form after offseason
Hattrick is bruised (happens way more often there then here)

What are your thoughts?

I actually dislike the forums in hattrick too. Confusing. What's so hard with just a regular, nice, forum? I think Supporter in Buzzerbeater is supposed to be that way. You don't need it to enjoy the game.

I'd get it just for the private leagues alone, which is more enjoyable then the actual league/cup games. Add the the bookmarks and gameday scoreboard and I'm more then sold.

Use to be addicted to HT, but then BB was created and now just farming NT players with my HT team. The GE experience is exponentially better in BB plus in HT I never liked the fact that financially you were best served to sit in the lower divisions instead of promoting.

I do like HT's changes to training which encourage cross-training now and are more realistic (skills train faster at lower levels but slow down when they get to higher levels). Also a big fan of the team confidence measure, something I would have preferred to see adapted here instead of the enthusiasm system.

I used to be a DIII champion in Hattrick, but then I just started hating it. Probably the biggest reason was Form. There was no rhyme or reason to changes in Form, and it just ruined the game for me.

Well, you could always train form. But then it's like paying the Mafia protection money... "I would hate to see anything bad happen to your precious form..."

(I've managed to be mediocre in the top leagues of each...)

Hattrick

Pro
-Reply to everyone forum option

Pro
-random cup draw
-private leagues (although the first con negates this a lot)
-playoffs
-training arrows
-game shape reset in offseason

Con
-lack of feedback unless you want to watchi realtime
-staff system
-ticket system (is it supposed to be a basketball simulation or an economic simulation)
-neglected BBAPI
-lack of coaching options
-random substitutions
-draft interface
-navigation

I've played both for awhile (although not super seriously). My biggest beef with BB is the lack of ability to develop young players. The draft system is more or less a lottery--it's terrible and terribly expensive over the course of a season to get an idea of which players are decent.

HT is a little too one-dimensional but I do love the YA system. It's more interesting than the main team to me now.
