Wow, nice work so far!
I would get Jump Range up to Strong (although that's more of a personal preference).

As for making him an SF, personally I think he is a little too short to be effective, 6'4" to 6'6" would be better in my opinion.
However, depending on your financial capabilitys (I am assuming you currently have a level 4 trainer), you could upgrade to a level 5 trainer. This will allow you to get a few extra weeks of training in per season without costing a whole lot more (probably costs 400k more per season).

I think with the higher level trainer, you could train Inside Defence up to Prominent and train Rebounding up to Respectable in 1 season. I don't think 22 is too slow to train, it would be too slow to start training up a player but you already have a good player here so continuing training is fine.

i have two 6" SF trainees, to train them inside(mostly Inside defence) is sometimes pretty frustrating but personally i think that it makes sense to get an very strong outside SF. Try to focus primary on the Defence this will take time.

You've done great so far and I would just say keep going - sure some of his next pops will be slower than others - just dont lose sight of the final player you want to achieve and suck up the extra training time on the tougher skills... in the end it will all be worthwhile whether you want to keep him or cash him in!!

I'd run with ID single position as much as possible and also 1 more level of OD, then you will be over the hill and then its JS/IS all the way.....RB if you still have time/desire.

Superfly,

If you had to pick a ideal height for a SF what would it be? I agree w/ what CrazyEye said that a outside weighted SF is better but I feel he should have at least some height to facilitate Inside training. My new SF trainee is 6'6" which I felt was close to an ideal compromise. Thoughts?

Tough to say as I dont train from age 18.

I either try to buy as tall as possible with fully developed outside skills or vice versa, so the height is less relevant if they have the skills in place I dont want to train or develop further. But if i had to give an answer then 6'6" or 6'7" sounds about optimal.

inside sf could also be very fine ;) But in his case i would go outside because his trainee is is "small" like the ones from me. A SF like yours could be balanced and find his missmatch depending on his matchups. And normally the SF opponent will have a weakniss he could punish.

His size gives you also the oppurtunity to design him after your needs, if you fell your team needs more of this training train it and integrate him into the training, he will get better with every training you make(ok maybe you should care that he could defend on both ends)

I don't really think that SFs need better Inside Def. than Outside Def.
So, start training his ID till it hits strong and do the same with the REBS. Then, you can train his IS (I suggest till it hits prominent). When you complete his inside training, continue with the outside skills till the player is 24.

Why is it that you believe that SFs need better OD then ID?

As itis right now very few teams are using inside SF's plus the fact that is much easier to train JS than IS
