I was wondering how much the PR-manager really does for my team, and if I need more than "minimal". My previous PR-manager was getting paid 5k a week (he's the one I started with). I canned him and forgot to hire a different one. Do I need more than a minimal PR-manager in div IV? If yes, why do I need a better one, and what level should I buy?

If you are winning most of your games then I don't think there is much of a need for a high level PR and a basic PR with a specialty is fine. However, if you are losing a lot of games, and attendance is a little low, then an advanced PR manager could boost sales and may be worth it.

i must to be honest, i don't understand how the PR is really working ;)

But i thing also the difference theory could be working, if a better PR gives you 1% more visitors you should hire one especially if you are succesful because he would have a bigger impact.

Did anyone employ "exceptional" level PR manager? Would he boost the sales / merchandising or attendance a lot? Furthermore, would the fan survey be 5-ball in all categories?

I always employ level 2 PR manager, as it is the cheapest ...
