Im only making 14k a week. I think it because my trainer makes more than my whole team....he makes 99k and my team makes 75k. I cant replace him because it has a severance fee and signing bonus, etc and i only have 14k saved because i've just contracted an expansion for my arena. I also need him because he is an exceptional trainer, and im training some young players possibly for NT. So what should i do?

Just looking at your arena you should be dropping prices for your luxury box and courtside seats not rising them because they arn't filling at your current prices. 99k is really to much to be paying for a trainer. Adjusting your ticket prices should give you a some more income but long term getting a lower priced trainer is the best option. If you keep that trainer at the end of the season when players wages rise you will be in a lot of trouble especially if you are training big men as they have bigger price rises.

I think getting a lower waged Superior trainer is the better option in your case. The difference in training isn't that much and you will have more cash flow that you can use to improve your team. Even if you insist on an exceptional trainer you need a cheaper one, i wouldn't expect much competition if you wanted to get a 60k one. Even with firing your 99k trainer after 3 weeks u will start saving money by having a lower wage Execeptional trainer.

You could fire your trainer after the next training update (and before the next financial update), and train free throws for the All-Star week (with your automatically assigned level 1 trainer).

That way you are still receiving training for this week, and you will pay 101k (99k + 2k for level 1 trainer) for the week. You will pay 2k for the All-Star week, and can then buy a cheaper trainer for the next week, and for the rest of the season.

Ding.

The problem ist that you can't buy a good trainer without money!

If you want fast results, sell one of your players, fire the trainer, keep the level 1 trainer for this week and hire one next week where you will have 100k + player sold (you can even wait for the home game to hire the trainer as the update is only made on fridays).

If on the other hand you don't want to sell anyone... I would keep the trainer, adjust the arena prices and hope to make around 400/500k to have a good level trainer immediatly after firing the new one!

Cheers
