I made a massive expansion on March 10th that was supposed to take 58 days. Today is day #58 and it says that I still have 17 days left. How come my expansion is taking so much longer than it was supposed to?

It is an estimate, so I guess you just got unlucky. Maybe the materials for the seats got held up on the boat ride over and so there was a small delay :P

As you were told, the number of days is an estimate. For such massive expansion more probabilities that it last much more time than expected.
Anyway, this is help forum staff (or bug forum if you think it's a bug), so post it there if you have more doubts about this
