Hey first time poster here, I was just wondering if I have a good chance of winning my next game while on "T.I.E" motivation.

The game is against the Welland Giants, and it seems they don't have a manager and they only carry 9 players. Their country rank is only 575 (compared to my 477) and I think I have a good chance of winning this while getting my enthusiasm up.

What i'm trying to ask here is How much does my motivation choice affect my next match?

I wouldn't play TIE and here is why:
Based on looking at your past games I don't think you have been playing TIE in your games, so your enthusiasm is still at 5 at the moment. You might win your next game by playing TIE, however, this is the all star week coming up, so even though you will get a slight boost in enthusiasm to about 6.65, that enthusiasm will come down to almost 5 by a week later. I think you would be better of playing Normal and making sure that you win this game.

You should read the FAQ post in this forum as it will answer a lot of your questions and explains how enthusiasm works :)
Goodluck!

Hm, I guess i'll stick with normal. The reason i wanted to go T.I.E was to prepare my self for my first game after the allstar break, i'm facing one of the "real" teams in my league, and wanted to get a real advantage.

Anyways thanks for the reply! you were really helpful! :D

yes it is another little known fact about all star week that unlike in real life when teams are looking forward to a break in the BB world there is a lot more CT and a lot less TIE in the game before the all star game

Could anyone please tell me why I got 1 ball for the post? Did I say something that is wrong or something?
It's just frustrating when I give what I consider to be the right answer and get 1 balled for it without any explanantion as to why.

It looks as though someone might have a grude against you. I wouldn't really worry about it. As long as you give good advice, thats all that matters

Never mind advice, some people get 5 or 1 balls for asking questions. Just proves a lot of the ratings are based on people's feeling toward you.

If you speak truth take 1 balls as complimentary. They show you have a "fan". Maybe even more than 1.

If you have given the wrong advice there are certainly many well informed people reading these boards who will be glad to tell you why.

You seem like a sincere contributor, so I will share one of the little known BuzzerBeater secrets with you:

If you buy a World Renowned PR manager one of the extra skills available only at this level is an ability to make your postings on the forums more popular. I have such a PR manager, and I always get 5 balls. Even for a crummy, nonsensical post like this one.

Well worth the money.
