Just looking for some more information about how they work. Does the amount of points you win by matter? Does your roster or total salary get taken in to account? I know cup games are worth more, but does anyone know how much more? I am also assuming that div 2 games are worth more than div 3 games and so on and so forth? And also, is losing a cup game better than winning a league game? Do you get points for losing a game?

Any other information is much appreciated.
Thanks,
Virus

i don't know it for sure, but i expect they work with the same algorithm like the ranking from the NT's.

Does the amount of points you win by matter?

yes, the winner get 75-100% of the points depending on the differential of the points and the ranking pregame(if you a far better in the ranking then your opponent then you had to win with a big margin to get all the points)

I am also assuming that div 2 games are worth more than div 3 games and so on and so forth?

i think this assumption is right

I also am curious about team ranking system. Do PL games or SC games count in the ranking system ? I say this because after both of these types of games the team rank "seems" to change. It might be that the actual calculation is not immediate but at certain times during the week which makes it seem like the aforementioned games have some bearing.

Scrimmages don't count and PL games definitely don't count. Country rankings are updated after every game is played. So on tuesdays, your ranking change won't be noticed until all teams playing on tuesday around the world have finished.

As for noticing a change after scrimmages/PL games, the reason for this is because on Thursday there are many teams in the cup still, and so they will get ranking points and hence your ranking may go down on thursday/friday depending on your time zone.

Just to clarify, winning by 300 points to 250 points is the same for ranking points as winning by 100 points to 50 points?

I guess I was just surprised that I win my league game and drop in ranking lol.

could be happen more often, even if you get full points. Because those ranking isn't over unlimited time, so if you play a game normally another game flew out.

How long is the period? This is only my second season so based on that the period must be shorter than 2 seasons right? Unless games from the manager before me counts? But I doubt that.
