Also, can a player be MVP for the season without being selected in the All-Star game?

No one really knows. It is heavily based on minutes played and games played and obviously stats averages. However if a newly bought player is good enough they could still be selected without playing many minutes at all.

A player can still be MVP if they haven't been selected for the All-Star game.

yea i just bought a 20k salary sg and he played 3 games for me averaging around 35 mins and got selected into the all star team so this shows that a newly bought player can be in the team but they would definatly need go match ratings

And i just bought 39k center, he played only 23 minutes for me on saturday and got selected for ALG
