Does experience have any effect on player performance during a game? I had bought a decent shooter (respectable JS JR) with proficient experience and I noticed him take and make a 3 towards the end of a tight game, but I dunno if experience had a role to play there. What do you guys think?

Experience allows players to choose the "percentage" action. So they will do the "right" thing more often. So they might take the 3 pointer if they know they are a good chance at making it, or if they don't think they are a good chance they might pass it off or something else.

I think experience is very important, and that is why it is so slow to increase.

Okay, but how big an impact does it have on decision making? I ask because if a player with good experience always made the right decision then that would be a huge asset to have...maybe more important than the attributes even. Does experience really have that much of an impact in-game?

More along the lines of not taking a shot too quickly when you are up late in the game or utilizing 2for1 opportunities.

What you explained in your first post is exactly what experience is good for. Making good decisions at the back end of the game.

I will try to find a post from a BB that explained how experience affected a players decision making more at the end of a game and how an experienced player will take a better shot option than a less experienced player.
