Tachenko @ Hawks:: Tachenko won almost every game since losing Mayagoitta but this is the part of the season they might desperatly need him. Hawks back up SF Nemeth will also be out for this game. Hawks lead season series 2-0. Hawks 75%- Tachenko 25%.

Cleveland @ Flyers: These 2 teams fought hard for 2nd place throughout the season. Flyers are solid since all-star break. They look like an Italian team with most their starters are from Sicily. Cleveland is an experienced team that pulled some upsets in the past so it's not going to be very easy for Mannu and co. No injuries reported. Flyers couldn't beat Cleveland in regular season. Flyers 60%- Cleveland 40%.

Investors @ Illusion: Both teams improved since last season. Homecourt will be the biggest factor in this game. Illusion back up center Ayala will not be available on Tuesday. Illusion won both regular season games, they are hot and streaking but when there's the talented Mr. Carmona who might play out of his mind and score 50+, you better be on your guard. Matchup of two all star guards, Barr and Carmona will be a lot of fun to watch. Illusion 75%- Investors 25%.

Bangerz @ Gavno: Another great match up. Gavno duo Garnier and Chow against Beavers. No injuries. Gavno was 2-0 in regular season. These teams played yesterday but it was no indication, simply because Bangerz benched the regulars. Gavno 70- Bangerz 30.

Steppers - Dutchmen: Another great match up but unfortunately one of these teams will be in Div 4 next season. Dutchmen were competitive from the beginning and played decent basketball against some of the elites of the league. On the other hand Steppers were far from repeating last seasons 10-12 record. Dutchmen PF Kyle Pugh injured his shoulder again and will be out for this series. Dutchmen has the homecourt. Only way for Steppers to steal a road game is another epic effort from Mina- Mays corp. These teams played once during regular season at Charlotte and Steppers won that one. Tough call but all things considered, Dutchmen 51%- Steppers 49%.

Pistons - Armageddons: Odds are closed for this game since Pistons are not expected to be on the court. Armageddons have the luxury to force game 3 for extra income by causing a walkover on Saturday. May 17th was the last time Pistons coach and players were seen on the gym and if they show up on the training facilities before Tuesday it might be an indication of playing this series. Even if they decide to play, their chances are zero to none. It must feel good to be in Armaggedons' shoes right now.

Ayala actually might be available for tuesday's game he was injured last tuesday and I don't know if a 1 week injury means he'll be available that day or the day after, so we'll see what happens. He's actually my starting PF by the way.

Great analysis, I agree with the picks for the most part.

My bad. I have always thought Silva was your starting PF.

yeah they play similar minutes because well they are very similar, both have poor stamina, and have similar skills. They also look quite similar to make it even funnier.

All predictions were right for round 1, no upsets, but Dutchemn looked more dominant than a 51% chance of winning, hopefully steppers can come back next game show everyone they have what it takes to remain in this league.

Barr v Carmona
1 - 0

Here are the predictions for round 2:

Flyers@Hawks: Last time a team from Great 8 winning the league was back in Season 4. That's why Big 8 conference finals can be brutal. Two very strong teams that both had hard times on first round. Hawks' Nemeth is doubtful for Saturday. Hawks have the HCA and almost unbeatable at Indy but their only loss of the season was against Flyers. Hawks 55%- Flyers 45%.

Gavno @ Illusion: A Great 8 classic. These two teams meet at conference finals since season 10 and Illusion played in every conference final since season 8. Very experienced teams and they both want 2nd division. No injuries. Season series tied at 1. Gavno in better shape but Illusion has the HCA. Illusion 51% - Gavno 49%

I won't dissapoint my odds (I hope). Last year I was in the exact same situation, but completely different. I have much more confidence in my team, I have quality reserves, great enthusiasm, good game shape, and most importantly HCA. Plus I am very optimistic about everything after that Lakers victory, hopefully all goes well for me, but either way it will be a great game.
