Although I expect to win my next game in the playoffs considering I beat this team by 44 last time, I want to avoid a fluky loss. His team is 100% guard orientated as his bigs all average less than 8ppg. He plays a run and gun offense and has good perimeter scorers who account for most of his points. What defense should I play? Should I play man to man and just matchup with his guards- and hope my better players outplay them. Should I play a 3-2 zone, is that more affective against guard play, or will that allow for open threes if they move the ball around? I am not really a supporter of the 1-3-1? Any thoughts?

You beat him by 44 points using man to man last time so i see no reason why u can't beat him again using the same defense.

Ya I would play man to man some since you destroyed him last time doing that. It would just make the most sense.

Yea that makes sense. I think I'm just over thinking right now. I went undefeated in my league and was dominant all season. I just don't want to have to play another year in D5. I'll just stick to what I've been doing all season. Thanks.

If your SF has a good outside defense, you could play a 3-2, otherwise stick to man.
