Well, currently I've been training my SG for the past 2 seasons. He's been doing pretty good, and I'm expected to make it to IV. He's 20, 6'2", and has superstar potential. I want to make him dominant force, but after training jump shot the whole season I don't really know where to go next for him. Any thoughts?

His skills are:

Jump Shot: wondrous Jump Range: proficient
Outside Def.: average Handling: respectable
Driving: respectable Passing: respectable
Inside Shot: mediocre Inside Def.: pitiful
Rebounding: mediocre Shot Blocking: atrocious
Stamina: average Free Throw: awful

Seriously train Pressure (so he could pop in Outside Defense) and I mean a lot. Probably until Sensational.

Ya, I've been trying to pick up a trainee, but I'm just gonna wait till this season is done with. Also, outside defense is also what I thought, so I guess I'll go through with that. Thanks for the responses guys.

I would train OD at least half the season with handling and passing split with the rest.

Yeah Pressure training would be the best way to go. Single position training with pressure and passing would make him a force. D4 is all about defense. A lot of players can shot like he can but if you can't stop them then you'll lose. Avg outside def is low for your next league and he will get eattin a live.

Nicely put. It is almost sad what was done to this player. Why weren't you rotating training?
I have a young SG/SF who has marvelous JS but also Sensational OD. I just rotated JS,JR,1 on 1, and pressure for a season and a half. Good luck with that average OD, I think it will take at least 7 trainings to just get to strong.....peace

Yeah finding a rotation that best suits your team and the type of player you want is key to training and also being successful in this game.

If he trains Pressure PG in 4 weeks maximum he will be in strong.
