I Bid 1000 on a player on indias NT, so that I would have bragging rights. Even though his is 33 years old, and not as good as my current starter, I would like to train him. Was it just a dum, and total mistake to bid on him?

(his stats are listed below)

edit: No posting of transfer-listed players.

training will never happen, but from my understanding oyu do get merchandising, even for other countries NT players. And of course, bragging rights.

Two things:
1) He's never played a NT match and I assume never will. I believe that you only get the merch bonus for players who actually play in a NT game, but I could be wrong. Most likely he will be cut as soon as he sells: He is owned by the NT manager who is clearly just putting him on the team in an attempt to sucker someone into buying him.

2) In a few minutes a GM will come in, blank part of your post and remind you not to post players currently on the TL.

1. You are correct that a player must play minutes to receive the merchandise bonus.

2. I'm not 100% sure, but I thought that as long as you don't link to the player it is okay. i.e. You are allowed to list the stats of a player on sale as long as it isn't an advertisement.

When you are saying that this is a scam are you saying that the manager that is trying to sell him used some software to make him more attractive?

DO I HAVE TO REPORT CHEATER SO THAT I DON'T GET BANNED?

haha...ofcourse not....
he means that he called that player to the NT so someone (for example you) buy him for the prestige of having an NT player.... but this player will be kicked out of the NT when he will be sold because he is not by any chance good enough!!

I am afraid this is a scam. This player is owned by the Indian NT manager, and has no chance in a million of years to be an NT player on any roster in BB.

Is this allowed? When I was the U-21 manager for Japan, a lower Div. manager asked me to put his 18 yr draftee on the team so he could sell him for more money. I refused because I thought it was against the rules. Will this manager get a warning about abusing his NT status?
