The team I'm playing is inactive and I won game 1 by 22 points. I do have to spend an extra $15,000 on salaries by having my players who I want to sell play a game 3 though.

If your sure that you will win then it's ok to lose on purpose.

Go ahead and lose. Even if you lose on Sunday, which I doubt, you'll still promote to Division IV because of your record.

Yes. All promoted teams get the bonus regardless of whether they win the league.

If you get promoted through bot cleanup instead of winning the playoffs, you don't get the same bonus for season ticket holders you'd get due to promotions.

Just a thought.
