ONE SF with 4 rating and 4 potential. one center with 5 rating but no idea his potential. My team in need of some young centers but shld i take the gamble?

Personally I would not take the gamble. If you take the small forward- you guarantee yourself a good player with good potential. You will be able to sell him for good money on the market- then use that money to buy a young center that you are sure on(there will be many available after the draft on the market). If you take the center, his potential could be marginal and that would decrease his value on the market or as a trainee.

i dont think you can go really wrong with eather.

Option A: You draft the SF, who will have somewhat equal all around skills. THen buy 2 young C's with decent potential. at your level you wont need more then star - allstar potential for a while. Train the C's and the SF by playing them as C and training thier inside abilities. By the end of the next season, you should have 2 decent C's and a decent PF (the SF you drafted)]

Option B: take a gamble on the C, with a 5 ball rating at least he will provide immediate help for your team, then you can do the above, and train 3 C's, eventually keeping 1 or 2 and sellnig the other to help you in other positions.

A center with star or allstar potential will be fine for him unless he is wanting to sale him. He is in Div 5 so you are probably not going to train him up to meet a MVP lvl anyway.

i would go for the SF, because they need more skills to be trained to be a well balanced SF. this means that in general the highest trained skills will not be as high as for other positions, so you need less potential for a SF...

First of all, you've scouted him twice, is he B+, B or B-. Also, and most importantly, 18 or 19? If he's B+ and 18, absolutely the SF. If he's 19, then absolutely the C. Otherwise, if he's 18, but B or B-, you're taking a gamble on superstar vs. perennial allstar. If you plan on training this guy, and want to keep training that SG, I would go with the SF.

i also would decide that on the age, if he is 18 take the four star guy if not take the 5 star guy

HEHE , i put the 4 star 4 potential SF as 1st and 5 star unknown potential center as 2nd AND GUESS WHAT?! i got the center instead! looks like someone picked the SF. but wait till u see the center stats...
