When you send a BB mail to someone, if any of the characters is a "/", it disappears off the mail.

e.g. copy a link and paste it into the BB mail. As soon as you press send, you will see that the "/"s does not appear as part of the sent message.

There's a horribly misguided, horribly implemented piece of javascript (changeSpecialSymbols) on the site that tries to make text in BB-mails "safe". Not sure, but I think this is part of what that does.

That's strange but some time before it worked correctly. Then I had found that some symbols get lost when sending bb-mail(I'd been non-supporter). So I couldn't make some links including symbols /, = and some others. It made me annoyed, as no link could be sent..
But then I became a GM and received free-supporter and the problem disappeared. But sometimes I send the bb-mail to non-supporter with [player=xxx] and receive the reply with [player xxx].
It's very annoying
