okay...so i have a level 3 trainer with specialty in career extension. his salary is 17k. i am just wondering how important the specialties are and also how big a difference a level 4 trainer would make. thanks to all in advance!!

17k is pretty pricey for a lvl 3 IMHO... I was told that getting a lvl 5 trainer is suggested for newer players. Lvl 6 if you want to train players for NT / U21.

Not too sure about the specialties, but from my understanding the effect for specialties doesn't increase with trainer levels. Can anyone confirm this? o_O

I think level 4 is better for newer players, once you get to level 5 the sign on fee increases a lot for the low wage trainers and its hard to afford the higher wage ones.

Speciality is a once off bonus that is the same regardless of level.

Hey
17k/week for a lvl3 trainer is quite a lot. There are lvl6 trainers that have salaries between 20k and 30k a week, however, you need a lot of money to buy them, since a lot of players will be bidding.
from what i can see, career extension is pretty useless to you, since you only have 1 guy that's over 30. Unless they are really good (which i doubt, as in your case he has a salary below 4k), or you just have a few players, it's not the best move to keep players over 31 in your roster.
The other specialty, fitness, is slightly better, but since stamina drops aren't that frequent, it may not be worth the extra money, as specialty staff tend to be somewhat more expensive (more people bid on them).

If you can afford one, and it doesn't cripple your economy, I recommend getting a lvl5 or 6 trainer (even if he has no specialty). Training young prospects and selling them can get you some nice profits. Also, it makes the training of older players (like 27) much faster (if you choose to do so).
If you can't though, a lvl4 trainer is definitely something you need to upgrade to. I can't say exactly how much of a difference it'll make, but it's definitely better than the current one.
