Goodbye... I've to thank you Cyprus, because you give me the chance to better understand the game with three national mandates for 6 seasons!

I started in season 7, we were the 81th team in the World Ranking, I leave this country at 47th position... I started with these evaluation:

Outside Scoring: mediocre (high)
Inside Scoring: inept (medium)
Perimeter Defense: mediocre (low)
Inside Defense: inept (high)
Rebounding: inept (medium)
Offensive Flow: inept (low)

and I leave with these:

Outside Scoring: prolific (low)
Inside Scoring: strong (low)
Perimeter Defense: strong (medium)
Inside Defense: average (low)
Rebounding: mediocre (low)
Offensive Flow: respectable (low)

I leave to the next coach top players like Yiorgos Kaliasis (7529531), Simos Fasoulis (8238533), Agapitos Atmatzidis (6166959), Nikolas Gkavoyiannos (8238456) or Aris Papanikos (8238648).

I wanna thank cooperative managers like JohnnyB (117384), moti123 (117403), Daddy Cool (117369), recep (117458), PaThos (117445), Ekleptysmenos (117415), Gast0ne (117412), Pistoleros (117474), thessalonikios (117423) and all managers all around the world that help us GM-AlexRepetti (world champion) ™ (27020), Tommm (52993) and TassosC, JPBulls (24502), Pallu (34251), GaD10 (55412), HollyWood (26327), AndreiC (56901), DarkRaziel (96050), Juxhini (118041) and many others...

I ask everyone that will follow me to grow up this country, this people and these players, mainly:

G. Prezas (9867279) -> continue the big men "tour" (IS, ID and REB)
I. Mastroyiannis (9730194) -> mainly OD (3-4 levels), but JR and JS after are too low right now
N. Zigouris (9730309) -> OD and JR for sure... may be a little bit of PA and HA
Y. Dimidou (9730350) -> everything, everywhere... after two seasons he could be a perimetrical SF for Cyprus NT
V. Pelekoudis (11566727) -> continue the big men "tour" (IS, ID and REB)
A. Kotsovolos (10484879) and P. Naurozidis (9730505)are really behind but they can have a future in couple of season....
N. Kerkidis (9730397) -> continue the big men "tour" (IS, ID and REB)
K. Papazisis (8238542) -> JS/JR for his entire life :-)
E. Kelepouris (8939949) -> OD, JR and JS (really near to be recruited next season IMHO)
T. Gittas (9730192) -> same thing of Kelepouris, but lower skills, higher potential... he will take one, may be two seasons more...
T. Konidakis (6892169) -> JS/JR for his entire life :-)
A. Kostis (6895171) -> 1on1 for a season or something like that...

These are my "ads" for the next coach!

Good luck everybody for season 13 and to the next Cyprus NT Manager

It was an honor having you as a mentor, coach, colleaque but above all a friend. I wish you all the best in all the future challenges you will face both in life and in game. I am sure that you will continue providing your guidance to all of us. I would like to thank you for all you did for the Cyprus National team but also for the Community. I know that in times you were disappointed but deep inside you understood the reasons for our actions.

Our community now has lost a passionate coach, a coach who developed all of us and made our NT a team strong enough to withstand powerhouses and not taken for granted. The remaining community will try with the knowledge you gave us , with the heritage we inherited, to grow, develop and maintain a respectable community and NT. You are leaving and handing us a vrey difficult task. What you did will be hard to complement but all we can do is try. You must know that the doors of the NT are open for you anytime you may want to.

I promise to stay in touch so that I keep learning your news, exchange ideas and various other things. You are always welcome for a visit in beautiful as I hope we are for a visit in Italy.

Good luck my friend to you and your family.

Christos said pretty much what i am thinking. Thanks for everything that you did for our community. Thanks for the countless hours that you spend on msn with me. Thanks for everything you have teach me. Thanks that you have believed on me on the time that i was ready to quit. Thanks for being friend of me, and supported me on a various things.

Now i am the run to fill your ''Shaq like'' shoes. Hard but i will try to do my best if i get elected, but your passion will be surely missed.

Good luck on your next challenge, and i hope one day that i will hear for the new coach of Benetton, and his name will be Stefano. Any time you need something, you can count on me, not only as a BB manager, but most importantly as a friend.

I think Ekleptysmenos said everything well enough to show the importance of Steve Makis as our NT coach. All we can say is just a very big THANK U Steve. Steve' s work and help has been a valuable asset not only to our NT, but also to each and every one of us as coaches. We will be in touch Steve and you never know what lies in the future.. :) Good luck and best of wishes.
