I know this has been asked before, but I couldn't find the answer. Is there a penelty for playing a player out of position? For instance I played a C at PF all last season because we was only 6'9. This season I have drafted a 6'7 C, who starts at respectable at each of Jump Range, Handling and Outside Defence, so I was thinking he would be a better SF. I welcome all thoughts and suggestions.

P.S. the only thing that the new C is respectable in skills for a C is shot blocking and Inside Shot

The position that appears is just a suggestion, you are free to play your guys at whatever positions you see fit, with no harm done. There is an important point about players' height. Height only matters for training purposes. In games, a 6'6 player w/ respectable rebounding will rebound just as well as a 7'5 guy with the same skill
