Might be a really, really stupid suggestion, because it might be hard to implement, and not very relevant, or interesting for that matter, for most (and so far it is not very thought-through either, so I am not even sure if I think it is a good suggestion myself, yet). Or it might have been suggeste before. But I came to think about the following:
Let us say that if I
1) were to change my training completely from big to small guys or the other way around, and wanted to get rid of all the guys that I was done training at once, and wanted to be sure about getting them all out for a decent price and at the same time or keep them and train them all for another week (all or none) (could be worth a slight discount for me as a seller…).
2) Or, even, if I was selling a good prospect, and I also had these bad players that I wanted to dispose of, worth only some 100K each, I could bundle them up, and sell them as one piece. Would perhaps not be so attractive for the buyer, but for the seller it would be nice?
3) Or, if I were to clean up my squad, I could bundle many bad players, and make a decent package of it, which I would sell fairly cheap. Could be interesting for lower league clubs to pick up perhaps?
This would make the transfer market a bit more unpredictable, and fun, and you would perhaps get rid of some of the, sometimes, stupid bidding wars for single players. Also, you could see some cool trades going through, with mega-stars, role-players and bench players being sold in one. Would perhaps be more realistic, and at least a bit closer to the trades we see in real basketball? I think it would add something, the vast majority of sales would still be single player sales, of course, but it would be a nice addition, perhaps.
What do you think? The thought surely needs to be polished, but just wanted to see what people think about the basic idea of bundling.
