Hi,

If you are talking buying a young player with high DMI for his skills (and hoping for a quick pop) I would say it is risky. First of all, you might get an expensive deal in the first place, and then a bad deal when you sell the player.
And to look at short-time training is not the best way to earn money in BB. I would go with a nice training object with a good potential, train him and sell him when I feel fit to. If you change your training object constantly you might end up with a late deadline and therefore a player playing double matches.

And on your second statement I would say no. Pay attention to the players with the skills for the position he is about to play. A center with legendary jump shop will just give you an unnecessary high your salary.

If you think of buying a player with good skills for his position but lack 2-3 pops in a main skill, then that could be a good investment. E.g. A Center with 7 in IS, ID and SB but only 4 in RB. That will generate money as long as the player is attractive on the transfer list (young and decent potential).

I hope I have answered your questions,

-PP

guards that have collosal and even legenday JS with good JR and their next highest stat could be inept..

i always wonder who buy them :) but it seems to be a way to earn money, in this point i am with you :)

The other example are working, but normally aren't that lucrative to train then guys with higher starting skills.

Is it a great way to make money off the TL by just bloating up the salary by pumping say, 2 skills of a player up to get a high salary and then sell?

with JS and reboudn it could work, but i won't push it to high maybe working then up to 10-12, but even confentional training especially from guards could be very lucrative.

When somone speaks of a players "total skill points" which skills are they referring to? Is this everything minus free throw, stamina, game shape etc? Or is it a speciific group of skill for each position?

I looked at your roster but can't seem to find the player you are talking about. Can you post him here? What is his potential?
