Malaysia fought to a hard-earned victory over New Zealand on Monday, in the first round of WC qualifiers. NZ, being the tournament host, had the home court advantage and used the right tactics against us. We were fortunate to hold on to a narrow win in the end.
Next game will be vs group favourites, Philippines.
