It would be interesting if one day we can change a player nationality.
The analogy is, if one player stayed at one time for a long period, and the country considered to change the nationality...

I agree - as long as the player hasnt played NT games for his original country - just needs to be a suitable period (5 seasons?) until they can be eligible for dual nationality. At least this may help smaller countries improve beyond cannon fodder for the most populated countries.

wont be fun when all of your good talents are bought by 1 nation , trained well but kept in bad gameshape until they change nation then magically there game shape improves and whats this there on there national team now ?

While I understand that this game can't simulate all aspects of real life basketball I still believe that trying to make it closer and closer to reality is one of the goals.

Like it or not giving citizenship to a foreigner after 5 years\seasons (example) of working\playing abroad it natural nowadays. It's also a human right (is this correct? sorry for my english).

In basketball every other country plays with one player born abroad. FIBA rules are restrict: only one player max per team and as long as the player didn't played for his original country.

Even the US played with one guy born outside their country, spain played with an american, even Russia is playing with one and the list goes on and on.

I agree that after a few seasons playing in one country a player could change nationality. My opinion.

While some people believe this is more realistic, I find that it is far from it especially when it is in a global environment.

While it might be fine for some more multicultural countries like the US or Australia to have guys with names from all over the world, can you imagine a sudden influxes of Jones, Williams, etc (I'm just giving English ones for an example but the same with Spanish and Italian as well) but with a Chinese flag next to their name??

Not too realistic if you ask me. In real life you will find that most players tend to be more closely associated with the country they grew up playing ball rather than the country they are playing ball currently.

We talk about national team players here - in my opinion such a rule would only benefit small countries as they could get hold of players who are to bad to play for their original country (I seriously doubt the top10-nations will start to convert Jamaicans and Kazhaks) but still top of the crop for some smaller countries.

Example: Ghana would love to get some players in the 30k+ salary range, whereas France/China/Italy maybe wouldnt even consider them to play in the U21.

I would like to see such a feature, but I think it is impossible to make it happen in this game.
