So my team is sitting at about a 15% 3-Point average right now so I was wondering what the best combination of Jump Shot and Jump Range is for a good high percentage 3-Point shooter.

Jump Range states that the players shot will decrease in effectiveness with less range... so does that mean that good 3-point shooters cant be good jump shooters? Any help is appreciated

Good 3-point shooters can be good jump shooters. They have to be, because a three point shot is always a jump shot (unless its a buzzerbeating heave, but even if it is i think it is considered a jumpshot in this game).

What jump range should be is the player's jump shot ability decreases less as the range gets larger.
For example, if player A has a strong jump shot and horrible jump range, as the distance from the basket increases his jumpshot will become horrible. So he would be a bad 3pt shooter. If player B has a decent jump shot and excellent jump range, his jumpshot accuracy will still decrease the further away from the hoop he is, but the accuracy will not decrease as much for him as it did for player 1. So player B would be a better 3 pt shooter. A guy with bad jump shot and outstanding jump range would also be a bad 3pt shooter (and jump shooter in general).

That being said, a good 3pt shooter should be skilled in both jump shot and jump range.
I would think jump shot should be higher, because it increases the players ability to shoot all over the court. Jump range just improves the players ability to shoot longer distances.
