On the league page there is a list of the top 10 players in the league that have the best points per average, rebounds per average etc. I think that in this current system there is too big of an advantage given to players that play more minutes. I think it would be better if instead of there being a minimum number of games played to qualify for the stats, perhaps a minimum number of minutes played to qualify, and then every player that has qualified has the points per 48 minutes used instead of their points per game. This way a player that has played 35 minutes a game can still appear as one of the top players because they do well in those 35 minutes rather than having a worse player play 48 minutes a game and consequently appear as a better player on the ratings and consequently increase merchandise, all star appearances and increase their chance of being selected as MVP.

To use your own argument, most leagues use per-game and not per-minute stat to determine individual stat leaders. So that's not going to happen.

He's saying that real life leagues, such as the NBA, determine the MVP and awards like that based on "per game" stats...

I agree with Naker though...It's pretty unfair to have players that use 48 minutes in league games and then bench in cup/scrim games being considered an MVP just because they have better "per-game" stats. I'd much rather see something that Naker proposed: it'll make sure starters are being counted and take into account which player actually plays better.

Per game results should be used, as it is used everywhere. If your player playes 28 minutes per game constantly, perhaps he's not that big of a leader anyway.

A starter generally plays around 30 to 35 minutes for example.
However in this game, you need 48 minutes to give someone full training which people usually do by playing them all 48 minutes in 1 game. Because of this, using per game results is not really an accurate representation of the best players in the league.
A great already developed player won't be playing 48 minutes a game.

but the player had to play more then 50% of the games, and if a player plays 48 minutes i won't use him another time as a starter so a strong player usually ends up 48 + 10-12 mins as a backup and averaging 30 minutes per game.

I agree with your 48 +10-15 mins idea. A lot of people do 1 position training so for example they will play their big man 48 minutes in game 1 at C to get the training minutes and then as a backup PF in the next game. I do 2 position training but my backup SF is always one of my guard trainees.
