The teams have started to sort themselves out with the Arana Devils (6-0) West Island Tigers (5-1) and the Belmore Aces (4-2) setting the pace in the Big 8 While in the Great 8 Lewisness (5-1) The Afghanian allstars (4-2) Chelsea Blues (4-2) and Moe Meteors (4-2) are leading the way. While it is still early in the season Brisbane Bullets (3-3) and Fussy69ers (3-3) in the Big 8 will have to keep on wining to stay in touch with the leaders. The Great 8 looks like it might develop into a very tight contest for the final spot in the playoff with We all slept with Tiger Woods (0-6) the only team not on the pace. With the crossover games still to come the results of these games will go a long way to sorting out the make up of the play offs.

G'day. It will be very interesting to see how things go with the crossovergames. It seems to me that the top 5 in the Big8 are all very strong, probably even the 5th team being as good as the top team in the Great 8. On the other hand the Great 8 seems deeper with 7 of the teams still a chance to make the playoffs.

While the Arana Devils are the red hot favourites to emerge from the Big 8 we think there are still several that can win the Great 8. Obviously Lewisness has a great record but Moe has a couple of amazing players and they are still a chance to make the finals.
