We were having a little discussion about this in another thread and I would like to see who everyone thinks are the top 10 NBA players and in order, be prepared to back up your list.

1. Kobe Bryant (Not a kobe fan at all, but you can't argue he knows how to win and he gets it done.)
2. Lebron James (He is dominant, but needs to learn how to put a team on his back for big stretches in the playoffs.)
3. Dwyane Wade (My clear cut number 3 guy, because he plays on both ends of the floor and is easily the next best player to build a team around.)
4. Dwight Howard (I think the 4th spot was the hardest to decide, because the next couple players all have different games and contribute in different ways.
5. Kevin Durant (already a superstar and sill young. Durant is my number 5 guy, because of what he has done with his way young team.)
6. Chris Paul (Even after being injured last season he can't be denied this spot)
7. Steve Nash (Hard choice, but I think he is still barely better then my next players.)
8. Dirk Nowitzki (Impressive game and wants to win.)
9. Deron Williams (Has great hear and desire, plays well in the playoffs and is my next best player.)
10. Chris Bosh (Barely edging out Melo, Gasol, Duncan, and Rondo. Bosh has a good game and gives his team a solid option down low.)

Next best players as i see it in order (Roy, Gasol, Melo, Duncan, Rondo, Johnson, Pierce.)

Heres how I judged my players:
1. If I already had the rest of my teams players, which player would I choose to give my team the best shot at a championship.
2. Kind of close to the first question but, which player would I choose if there was a draft of all the players in the NBA.
3. Which player has the least holes in his game ( the reason I haven't mentioned Boozer until now.)
4. What player that can stay healthy enough to help my team the entire regular season and post season?
5. Which player will get it done for his team through the playoffs?

Okay, Here is how everybodys top 10s add up using this point system.
1st place vote- 10 pts.
2nd-9pts
3rd- 8pts
4th- 7pts
etc.

The number before the player is their rank overall and the number after them is their total points.
1. Kobe Bryant (141) With a gigantic 9 first place votes!
2. LeBron James (134) With 4 first place votes
3. Dwyane Wade (113)
4. Kevin Durant (81) With 1 first place vote
5. Dwight Howard (65)
6. Chris Paul (56)
7. Carmelo Anthony (45)
8. Deron Williams (32)
9. Steve Nash (27)
10. Dirk Nowitzki (26)
11. Derrick Rose (19.8) Please decide 1 person at the 10th spot
12. Chris Bosh (15)
13. Rajon Rondo (11.5)
14. Manu Ginobli (11) top 15? he's not in my top 25
15. Shaq (10) 1 1st place vote (Is this a joke?)
16. Pau Gasol (9) .
17. Tim Duncan (8.3) 3 people at the ten spot, c'mon guys.
17. Amare Stoudemire (5)
19. Kevin Garnett (4.3)
20. Brandon Roy (4) Way underrated on this list for sure.
21. John Wall (1) I would like to see him play an NBA game before putting him in the top ten.
22. Stephen Curry (.5)

Keep Voting!

Why Manu, You consider him to be better then Nowitki, Nash, Gasol, and Durant. Just wondering, because I thought that that was an odd pick for your tenth best player as of right now.

1. Kobe: The best Player when it comes to deciding to win and when to take over the game. His only deterrent is injury and age.
2. D-Wade: A big time player like Kobe, he knows how to win and take over. No Fear.
3. CP3: Probably the best PG we have seen in a while, and maybe for years to come.
4. LeBron: His actions this offseason for me put him down from number 3 to number 4 in my book. The only way to be top 3 to me is if you are willing to be the MAN, and handle pressure.
5. Melo: Big Talent, unfortunately still needs maturity.
6. Nowitzki: Very Versatile Big Man, and if it weren't for the play of my #2 he would be holding a trophy and who knows where he would rank then.
7. Howard: Best Center in the League, unfortunately can have bad games through no fault of the Opposition.
8. Bosh: I don't know if it was the whole offseason thing, but he definitely has made a name for himself. May become known as the best 3rd wheel along with Grant, Rodman, and many others.
9. B.Roy: The one guy I think you could say that if you pulled him from the team would probably tank, just like Nash.
10. Gasol: The best #2 in the game...

A difference Maker for his team= Nash, without him they are crap.

Oh, I had Durant on the list then I realized I forgot Melo and I forgot to put him back on it. Durant would be # 5 for me. Also, not big on Gasol because he doesn't play D; Nash is a good player but not a premier player; I've never been big on Dirk's game, he's a good player but I never considered him that great. Also, Manu's game is underrated in my opinion. He plays hard and goes at the other team, that is why is comes off the bench. If he was a starter he would be injured because he has such disreguard for his own health. He also has a high PPM and plays D. That is why I like him, I guess he is so high on my board because of how he plays rather then how well he plays

Don't get me wrong I think Nash is a hall of famer, I could have put him in somewhere but the reason I did not was his age but then again that contradicts my top 10 Kobe is up there in age also. But I do agree with you Nash is very good.

Kobe is only 31 going on 32 soon. He isn't that old, but because he came out of HS and didn't play College ball his body is breaking down faster so it seems like he is older than he is
