Princeton
Princeton is an outside/mid-range focused slow paced tactic.
Point Guard: Needs very good passing, cool jump shot and great jump range
Shooting Guard: Needs good passing, great jump shot and great jump range
Small Forward: Needs good passing, great jump shot, cool jump range
Power Forward: Passing is essential (key position), good jump shot needed and equal jump range
Center: Needs pretty good passing (6 or 7 is good), decent jump shot and range

If you have such players, you can play Princeton very successfully

I used it alot in the last season.
I had good shooters in position 1-4, and a C with great passing skills (for a Center).
It was very effective, because my Pf had high Js and Jr, and created many missmatches with the opposing Pf.
I noticed, that a player with more driving then JS/JR destroys this tactic, cause he takes many shots and misses too many.

You dont miss many shots, so you dont need good rebounders for this tactic. What you need are balanced players on PF and C, they need handling and passing, or you will create many turnovers.

facepalm.

they key to this tactic is driving and passing.
having each player able to shoot 3's and finish close to the ring.

center needs high driving as well , pg , sg and sf need high driving as well, pf basically runs the offense so he will need high passing

I play Princeton very often, and I just cannot confirm that the offense is run mostly by the PF. I think it highly depends on the player´s skill and the opponent´s defense.
My offense is mainly run by my SF (∅ 21.5 pts.), secondly by my SG (∅ 15 pts.) and thirdly by my PG (∅ 11.5 pts.). So it still depends on the mismatches and the decisions your PG makes.
Beyond doubt the PF plays a key role in the Princeton tactics, but it´s a lot more than just a superstar PF.

i didnt mean his your key scorer , i meant the ball goes thru him alot , try playing a turn over prone pf and see what happens.
