to be honest, your trainees aren't that good, both have major flaws (RB-Lang, ID-Jaro). but if you want to train them, just put them at center and do one position training. I think you can easiliy use mccarter as power forward in division V, his skills are quite balanced. but he will start to deteriorate soon because he's already 32, so I guess you have to look for fresh blood anyway. just my two cents

What is their experience level? Experience can have a huge impact on a player's performance.
My Center's skills are not the best at all, but still, he is one of the very best rebounders in the league.

Find some better 18 year old trainees. The ones you have are awful and don't have lots of seasons left when you can train them and still get the full value. Save up your money and buy a good 18 year old center with at least average or respectable in all the inside skills.

IwillDominate is the only person who is right here

your 3 players are horrid

you can improve your team the most by getting rid of all three of them and getting some decent young trainees

trust me on this for atrivial amount of money you can do much better right now, better skills, better age and better potentia

you dont need to save much money you can get much better guys than these right now for next to nothing

do it now
l
training is the single most important thing you can do to improve your team

ok i know that they suck ok??? im only in L. V and i was given a not that good team and this is just my second week so i cant really bid for players that are really good while young bcoz obviously other ppl want them too. and unlike most of you experienced managers, im poor i only have 100,000 and i cant go to a bidding war for that good players so i can only do with what I have

He wasn't having a go at you. He was just providing some advice and trying to help. We know you are new and still learning. I recommend that you read the guide in this forum if you haven't done so already.
Also remember that you will receive 50k extra every week for the first month to help you get started.
Just browse the transfer list occasionally and if you see a player you like going for cheap then try and pick him up :)
Goodluck :)

I got this guy for $2000 a month ago:

Tárcio Figueira (14626138)
Power Forward

Weekly salary: $ 4 012

DMI: 36600
Age: 19
Height: 6'10" / 208 cm
Potential: starter
Game Shape: proficient

Jump Shot: mediocre Jump Range: pitiful
Outside Def.: mediocre Handling: mediocre
Driving: atrocious Passing: respectable
Inside Shot: respectable Inside Def.: average
Rebounding: average Shot Blocking: pitiful
Stamina: mediocre Free Throw: respectable

Experience: atrocious

Obviously not a world-killer, but he is very solid. Currently, players like him sell for 2000-9000, according to his transfer price estimate, so I didn't get a ridiculous bargain or anything. Do a transfer list search for players with IS, ID, and RB all at least average, 20yo or younger, current bid less than 10k. I get 22 players, a couple of those should sell for cheap and do well for you.
