I have a 7'0" PF with Six Man Potential but 57 total skill points.
He has awful ID. I'd like to train him respectable.

Being that he is six man I'd say he could, but with his skills spread so thin (aver-respectable on 7 skills) - I think he may be close to maxed out...

Anyone got a better indication than salary?

I've noticed that even a role player can go pretty far in skills. So I don't really understand why people try to get MYP potential players...

Yes people often overpay for potential. Saying that though people may want MVP trainees because they want to create a NT player. Higher potential players may also be needed in the top leagues of your country in order to create great players to match it with the other teams.
