Hey guys, the cup is ending next week... I was thinking of organizing a scrimmage league...
What is a scrimmage league? I was thinking of organizing games for those who are interested to join, to play a number of games against each other during Thursday's scrimmage game... Then we will also have playoffs and a championship game...
Scrimmages are basically meaningless games played only to complete minutes of our players... If we can use these games to play in a scrimmage league, I think these games will be more exciting to watch...
If my count is correct, we still have 4 weeks to go in the regular season... Plus another 3 weeks for the playoffs and the off-season... We will have 7 weeks to play the scrimmage league...
I am thinking of 10 teams... Each team will play 4 games each in 4 weeks... Then based on the standings, 8 teams will advance, 2 will be eliminated... Then those 8 teams will be in the playoffs to determine the champion of the scrimmage league...
OR, we can cut the playoff teams to 4 to give way for another week for the North vs South games in the offseason...
Anyway, I'm still at the stage of formulating the schedules and other stuff... If anyone would be interested, you can just post here...
