Why should my team be punished because the other guy can't manage his roster correctly? This week I was losing out on a whole game of training already because of All-Star "weekend" and then I faced a team that's had 11 straight walkover losses already and got shafted 5 minutes for all my guys, holding them below the requisite 48 needed for training to be effective. This is not right. I set my roster specifically with 5 men and somehow they lose out on 5 minutes each even though there would be nobody to take their place.

Plus, a team with 11 straight forfeits should have been bot-controlled 8 forfeits ago. 3 forfeits is enough to turn a team bot...why does a team have 12 straight forfeits without being taken over by a bot?

Allstar week means there is only 2 games.
1 of your games you know was going to be a walkover.
Surely you rejoice and say "hmm...this is a great week to train stamina or free throws!".
You are lucky that your walkover coincided with the allstar week.

There are many ways to run a team. This particular team obviously likes the strategy of tanking and receiving as much income as possible.

As for 3 forfeits resulting in a bot team, what happens if the manager is in a car accident and has other more serious issues to deal with and doesn't set his lineup for 2 weeks. That would mean up to 6 forfeits. So he should just lose his team?

I don't need to train FT or Stamina, I need to improve the outside skills of a big man before he gets too old for it to be effective. I've lost out on another week of training for him or for one of my guards, and the problem is not just about All-Star weekend, it's about ANY walkover.

I'm talking regular season games and yeah, if his roster isn't set to be ready in case of an emergency, he's a bad owner anyway and he should have to start again. Why should my team be punished because some stupid owner doesn't have his "standard lineup" set to something that doesn't cause walkovers. Are you really saying that Fooly Cooly deserves to come back to his team after 12 straight forfeits?

Why would giving 48 minutes to the players of the winning team in a walkover (if they are set at all three spots in their position) be a bad thing? Give me one reason it would not be better than 43 minutes.

I agree, it should be possible to make 48 minutes in walkover.

There is no free minutes. Every second of time for training is connected to risk of injury and difficulty of player time management. There you go.:)

My point was that there may be circumstances in which 3 walkovers occur which aren't intentional and should not result in the loss of the team. Perhaps in the case of a walkover 5 lucky fans can come in to play instead. This allows you to get all training minutes as per normal.

Hmm, concerning France, the right number has to be in every case everywhere 18? Not 3,5,10,15,20,25, exactly 18 matches...
;)

Thats exactly my problem when they just remove the penalty for starter backup, then you will have scrimmages with "friends" who just forgot to make the lineup(especially during the PO, when they are out and training ft/stamina), but i could also understand the anger of some managers with this system especially because it isn't communicated outside of the forums.(maybe they need to put the minutes rules into the rules)

Another solution, and the solution i like to see, that they use a standard bot team to play against to consider the minutes and injurys after it you could make the result 25:0 and give the forfeited team a star.
