We would also like to update you on the development work we have been doing with the game engine. Our plans include a wide variety of game engine improvements, involving improved game calculation speed, tactical options, commentary, and more realistic game simulation. However, we need to release these changes only very slowly and with considerable testing, because we do not want to risk miscalculating competitive games. We will be slowly releasing various improvements over the next few seasons, typically starting with scrimmages, and then progressing to private league and competitive games. Starting Thursday, rebounds in scrimmages will be more realistic, with the possibility that the ball will go out of bounds directly, off a player, or that a player will commit a foul during the battle for the rebound. As mentioned in the BB-Global forum, we are also working to enhance the game commentary, and new lines will start to appear first in scrimmages and later in competitive games.
