I think that it would be good if the boxscore indicates players that were injured during the match.
I would also like the boxscore to show what position the player defended.
So if you play your PG to defend SG then it should show that on the boxscore.

I like your idea + I would like to add, that we should also see starters in the boxscore.

Agreed. Also, perhaps if there could be a minute breakdown of which positions they played.
So if a player played 20 minutes as a PG and 12 minutes as a SG perhaps there would be a way to tell what happened at each position? And perhaps the player gets a player rating for each positions as well.
This might be too complex though.

I understand your reluctance to have your tactics exposed to your opponent. But realistically, surely the team knows that you were defending a different player.

Regardless, I would still like to see which positions my players were defending, even if I couldn't see it for the opponent.

Should we scout how much each player scores and how many turnovers they get? If not, why should we have to scout this :P

Also I would like to see who guarded who and where. This could work like Xs and Os, just when you go across that mark with mouse, you could see these two names.

However this way would be a mess on the field, because imagine that there will be Xs, Os and (i dont know) Ds, Ms (defend, miss?).

I think that you mean something like this. In that case I offer possibility to switch the engine on the full screen of the explorer, make the court bigger or make it twice (on first would be your team attacking and defending (there are obviously different areas where it is done) and on the second one would be your opponent.

I like that idea, because from this is just few steps to get there a ball, 10 guys and make them move:)

Well you can see the defensive alignments when you watch the match. You see what players play in what position and who they guard most of the time. So I wouldn't like to expose tactics and make life easier for everyone. If people find it too difficult or time consuming to see 5 minutes of a game it's their problem. I mean in real life box scores do not show the defensive alignments, it's managers assistants' job.

in real life box scores don't show where the player played, it is also an assistent job but when you show the offense you probadly should show the defence too(or forget about both of them).
