On the other basketball sim I use(Courtrivals) they have an award for the users that are most helpful in the community and forums. It is basically a prize given to the most helpful person. Well for here that would be nice, because if you offer an incentive(like 3 month supporter) then a lot more people will be willing to help answer questions, mentoring newer teams, and improving their posting quality. At the end of every season the BB's make a nomination thread where other users nominate who they feel is the most helpful AND give a short sentence or two on why. Whenever the thread closes the person with the most votes and quality reasons, win the prize. By quality I mean reasonable, and not "UserX" because he is my friend". Then it doesn't become a popularity contest.

Good idea. The difference betwee someone logging on alone for a couple of weeks, being confused, losing their games, losing their interest and quitting, and playing for years, becoming a supporter and recruiting other players can be as simple as an experienced player giving them a little team specific advice when they first start. Any encouragement in this regard is most welcome. I know in Aussie BB there are several managers, Naker Virus, Zyler, Aussie Dude, Iwen, abigfishy, Koopasaurus and me that regularly mentor and help newer players in the game. It makes a big difference.

For example I have mentored to at least some extent PossumPete, Xerxes, ezlife, ezfrag and Aussie Hammers all of whom are now supporters and play in our own private league as well as a bunch of others that I haven't kept in such close contact.

Yep. So much goes unnoticed, and unrewarded, and this is easy to implement since BB's make one thread, tally it up, and give supporter to one user. It's not like they have to develop a special feature for this that take a lot of time ad effort.

Great idea, it shouldn't be time consuming at all and it would be a good way to recognize some of the more helpful people in the BB community.
