I was told that games are simulated 15 minutes before you can watch the game live. For example, here in California, USA, we have our games at 5 PM and have it simulated at 4:45 PM. What if my player is sold at 4:50, 4:55, or 4:46 PM? Will he still play?

Yes because you can't change your lineup 15 minutes before the game. In that time, the game is being simulated and then it goes into the match viewer.

I wouldn't risk it. The game may take over a minute, or over 5 minutes to run and so if your player is sold at 4:46pm he might not be included in the game.
To be safe I wouldn't list him anywhere near that 15 minute mark.

What happens when the game get's delayed a bit. Nasty surprise there. I would not recommend selling a player near the game starting time, unless you don't need that player for that game.

Another small problem with selling in game time is that the player got the waarning message that injurys ain't shown, and the buyer don't know how much minutes the player got this week.
