Before I went to bed last night, I had purchased a player for my BB team. For what ever reason, he showed up on my finances but not on my roster and everytime I clicked the player, he showed up as still being for sale. I figured the game was just being slow, even checking to see if I bid on a player whose time was ending, and it said the bidding would end at 7:32PM 8/27/2010.

Now that I've checked this morning, my roster is still at 12, and there is no expenditure on my finances in regards to player being purchased. I'm just curious if anyone has had this happen, or if there is a particular reason this happened. I think I bid 250k and looking at his market value, was somewhere from 300k-500k

Time was ending? But it had not ended? Every time you bid on a player it will show in your finaces. Someone else prolly bought him, can't you check if the player has remained on his previous team or has moved to another team and for what price?

Unless he bookmarked the player, or remembers the team the player was on or the player's name, he is going to have a hard time checking this.

Would be pretty pointless to post here looking for an answer if he does not know any of the things you mentioned:)

The deadline passed, and for a time, the transaction showed on my finances page... but the auction kept going... it was really odd and makes no sense whatsoever. I even checked the date to make sure I had that correct, just to make sure I didn't have the date wrong while the time right. I even checked to make sure it said PM.

Unfortunately, I did not expect the player to not end up on my roster because I had the winning bid. Generally when I make a winning bid, the player doesn't immediately show up on my roster, so I went to bed thinking it would. I checked ten minutes afterward and no one made a bid after me, and he was off the market, but on his player's page, it still showed up as being available for bid.

Though I did lose a player, I'm not complaining since I didn't lose money, however, I do want to let someone know that there is some odd game error, or someone maybe taking advantage of a bug.

When you place a bid close to the deadline doesn't the time extend by about 3 minutes?? Or is that just with staff bidding?? maybe this was not taken into account??
