So what exactly is the star rating based upon? Is it a solid report of the players' actual skills or just an assessment based on the scouted game box score? And what's the difference between the Star Rating you get after the post-scout and the Grade Rating you receive post-interview?

Okay the baseline ranking is suppoised to give a ROUGH indication of how good the player's skills are but there is a wide degree of inaccuracy so a 1 ball player on the baseline ranking could actually be a 5 star player once scouted.

The baseline rankings are very inaccurate, however once you scout the player you will receive a ball rating for skills and this will be far more accurate.

has it been confirmed whether the baseline rankings are just about skill and do not take into account potential?

Not sure whether it is just skill or potential as well. But I don't think it really matters much :P Either way the 5 stars on average are going to be better than the 1 stars.

right, but that could be useful info if we were able to find it out. If you are only able to scout a player once, it could help guide your decision of where you want to place him, granted it won't be the most accurate, but something better than completely random guessing.

I figured that's what the Star Ratings may be, a more accurate look at the skills but felt like that's exactly what the Grade Rating was as well. Any thoughts on what is the difference between those two?

Grade rating gives an even more accurate look at current skills then Star Rating

Hello. I have a question about scouting:

when I trian 3 players/200000/week, will I get three scouting points every week. I did not get any this week, and I have been investing 3 players/200000/week. Will it show up later, or should I stop scouting.
