I paid the 10 points to have the group demonstration and reading about what that does...I would campare it to scouted once for players with over 2 ball potential..I have several players with over that were I did not get a box score..think I spent the 10 points without any benefit...but am not very computer literate so I may be wrong.

Each week at the financial update you will get a certain number of scouting points depending on how much you spend.
5k = 1 point, 10k = 2 points, 20k = 3 points and 40k = 4 points.

You can do the scouting combine for 10 points. This will reveal the age and height of all players in the draft.

Each player has a baseline ranking when you first look at your draft. This ranges from 1 white ball to 5 white balls.
This baseline ranking is supposed to give a rough indication of how good the player is, but the baseline ranking can be very inaccurate. So a 1 white ball player could actually be a really good player, and a 5 white ball player could actually be a really bad player.

Consequently, the group demonstration is an option that is available for 10 scouting points.
If you do the group demonstration it will scout every player with 1 or 2 white balls but it won't fully scout them. It will give you a more accurate ball rating of the player's skill, and it will give you the position that their skills are suited for.
If you wish to scout one of these players that were scouted by the group demonstration it will cost you 2 extra points to see the age, height, and potential of the player.

If you do not wish to use either options listed above, then you can use your points to scout players that you choose.
It will cost you 1 point to see their skill rating and position played.
It will cost you 2 extra points to see age, height and potential.
So basically it costs 3 points to fully scout a player.

Hope that makes sense.
