Okay guys, a bit of a rookie-esque question pertaining to training here, but I want to make sure.

My team has a scrimmage coming up, and in order to protect the game shape of my players, especially with the home stretch of the division race coming up, I planned to remove them from the 12-man roster for the scrimmage.

I'm just posting this to be 100% sure that even after removing them from the roster for the scrimmage, they'll still receive their training.

A better explanation:

Of my 12 guys, 5 of them have already reached 48+ this week, and I want to protect their game shapes from falling lower than they may already be, and perhaps bump them a level or two. In order to insure this happens, I want to take them out of the game and just use the other 7 in the lineups- not just remove them from a spot, but just have 7 active players on the "selected players" list, and then just put the other 5 that have already received their minutes on the "remaining roster" list. A better image of what I mean is on the tactics screen- the top area there are two boxes, the left is active players, and the right is the rest. If I move them to the right, they'll still get their training right?

Yes. If they have already played 48+ minutes in your league game they don't need to play in your scrimmage game to get training. You can have a player play 48mins in one game and not play in the other two games that week and he will still get training.
