Very delayed these ones, but we haven't forgotten about you

Big 8 MVP:
Leslie Gafa (Lewisham Wombats)

Leslie once again features in this rounds awards. In typical Gafa fashion he carried the Wombats in their win over the Pancakes putting up 48 points off 19-34 shooting, he also added 3 rebounds, 3 assits and 3 steals.

Runners Up:
Włodzimierz Staszak (Black Label Society)

The Black Labels boom new recruit Staszak features in the awards in just his first ABBL game, He put up 25 points off 9-16 shooting, pulled down 22 rebounds and sent back 3 shots in his 41 minutes in BLS's win over the Doncaster Flames.

Jordi Hospital (Pheonix 5)

Jordi is becoming a regular in these awards yet still manages to fly under the radar. This week he went toe to toe with Darby Walters and put up 37 points from just 28 shots and pulled down 8 rebounds.

Great 8 MVP:

Anthony Cima (Haggards)
The Crushers rookie and his Nguyen power was no match for Cima as he went off for 36 points on 50% shooting, also adding 5 assists, 4 rebounds and 3 steals in the 22 point win.

Runner ups:

Couto Costa (Pancakes)
Couto has been on a tear since his all star snubbing and went in to attack mode against the Wombats. He had 42 points and 7 assists but unfortunately it wasn't enough as the Wombats held on for a 10 point win.

Sui Haili (Coolcats)
The Coolcats star put up another top performance in the win against the Avalon Jets. He had 27 points, 3 assists, 2 steals and a block while keeping Bin Hasan to a series of 1's (11 points, 1 rebound, 1 assist, 1 turnover, 1 steal, 1 foul)

Rising Star:

Third - Daniel Esparra etc etc (Doncaster, age 21)

Daniel provided some solid offense off the bench, scoring 14 points in 16 minutes, but couldn't get Doncaster over the line against BLS.

Second - Piero Martarello (Meateors, Age 18)

Martarello put up a solid performance against the Beers, scoring 20 points and 19 boards, to assist the Meateors to a win.

First - Jonaton Loop (Beers, Age 20)

Loop was dominant against the Meateors, scoring 22 points and pulling down 16 boards, to go alongside 4 blocks and 3 steals. He couldn't drag his team over the line, but he can have this round's rising star award to console himself.

Mate no need for gifts ... you can have him for a washing machine. We really need a washing machine hahaha. We'll throw in some crispy kreme donuts that Kennerley keeps in his locker too!

To make up for my obvious inabilty to see which team is which, here is an updated leaderboard. Looks like a 3 horse race, with Bergman, Goodall and Dowd clear of the field, though Bui could win with some strong efforts late in the season.

13 - Bergman (PAN)
12 - Goodall (EAG)
10 - Dowd (BHB)
7 - Bui (HAG)
5 - Martaerello (MEA)
5 - Loop (BLS)
4 - Yalduz (AVA)
4 - Savakis (CC)
4 - Esparraguerra (PHO)
3 - Nikoskelainen (DON)
2 - Eguchi (COO)
2 - McCraken (WOM)
2 - La (EAG)
2 - Condeixa (BLS)
2 - Dearn (LAR)
1 - Beasley (BPS)
1 - Zupanic
