My opinion is that neither one has good potential or skills for their age. I would probably start Canal and bench Orozco. I wouldn't focus training on either. You should be promoting soon and will end up replacing them with either better trainees or experienced players. The only one on your roster I would consider as a focus for training would be Gilbert.

Assuming u cant upgrade both of them , I would suggest u start the First Center and focus ur area of training on other players. By draft (and training) and buying new players you will be able to upgrade that position.
The first Center has better IS and better ID which in my opinion are the most important for Center then comes the others. He is even a better shot blocker, Rebounding is related to many factors including ur defensive tactics and 2 point upside to the second C is not enough to tip the hat for him. Both suck in JS, 2 or 3 is merely the same.
Hope my advice is useful.

The second center is very clearly better IMO. I'm assuming you're not going to be using inside based tactics if your choices are between those two centers, so rebounding takes precedence over IS imo...

Also, a center with atrocious passing is no center in this game...The second one's stamina is also a plus, though, not that important.

Because he is only 18 years old and has a way good potential. I don't know his skills, but you can probably make him a decent PF/C or even SF.

Yea, I would definitely train him. Try to manage all three of them will get 48 minutes (everyone plays one full game a week) one the position you're training, which would be center-training for now. Maybe you will consider to sell the two players you mentioned in the first post, due to their low potential/age (See what you will get during upcoming draft). But focus on Gilbert. increase his inside skills a couple seasons and then switch to Guard training for a while and you might get a decent PF.
Thats what I would do.
