if i play a player in both sub and reserve during a scrimmage will they get mins faster

What do you mean by get minutes faster? Do you mean both sub and reserve in the same position?

So are u asking whether a player would get more minutes if you put him as both sub and reserve then if he was just a sub ? I don't think it makes a difference.

in a rotation they will get more minutes, like as a sub you can list them at both a center and PF reserve and they will get more minutes than if you just list them as a center reserve. also, you can list them as a starting center and a power forward reserve, and they will play more minutes. but if you want to get full 48 minutes, just list them as the starter and dont name a reserve.
