Will the potential effects of faster healing still take effect??

2 players injured within the last week so close to playoffs... Wondering if hiring a doctor is worth the financial hit i'll take from my already meager income.

halp?

Hiring a new doctor with a higher level after the injury will speed up the time of the recovery, but only by a small amount.

A small amount but that amount is not even visible. You are probably looking at speeding it up by a day or two at most.

You'd better say that the main role of the doctor is still not to get an injury during the game. Though you are right: (118158.10):
The doctor also heals your player faster since the new staff system. So a higher level doctor surely pays of. However the most important part of the doctor is still making sure the player won't get injured.

A day or two is plenty tho imho! Btw, when you say a day or two, do you mean for 1 week injuries, 2 or 3? Is this confirmed? Cos I'll look into upgrading my doc if it is!

The difference being pie. The wizard gets free pie. A wizard gets nothing.

imho , whether it increases or not (where the recovery might increase very slightly) it is not worth the money spent on a new doc (severance fees bonus fees transfer fees) unless u have a very cheap Doc and can hire a new relatively cheap one.

Well I had never hired a doctor other than the one that was given to me. so transfer, severance was not an issue. I've since purchased an advanced doctor to try and mitigate any future injuries.

I think it will be beneficial in the long run.

Just to let you know that you can still get injuries with a better doctor (even long term ones) but they should be less frequent.

A proper wizard should be able to produce pie out of thin air. :P
