Just a quick question- Can a player have a stat pop more than just one in one week? For example, go from respectable to proficient?
I just bought a center with hall of famer potential and I am training Inside Defense with an advanced trainer. So is it possible?

You will only ever pop one level in a week (say respectable to strong) but you can pop in more than one skill - for instance when training one on one you may pop in jump shot, driving and handling in the one week.

The player in question is actually 26 which means it will actually take a long time to get pops. Are you aware that the older a player is the slower he trains? and that potential has no effect on training speed?

It is possible, but only under very special circumstances:

(78242.338)

- He is a very young player (18-20)
- He ist very tall so he can learn IS more quickly than a smaller player
- the team has a lvl 7 Trainer
- he must have had a very high subskill

In addition, there are "veterans" who would say, that was possible only in a Center-Skill that is far behind the other Center-Skills and so can rush up faster (in this case IS or BLO). I would not have worked with ID or REB, as they are very high yet.

But these cases are very very rare, so you shouldnt expect that.

By the way, as long as players have not reached their potential-Cap, a player does not skill faster because of a high potential, he only skill longer .

i would even say that this is more important then the level 7 coach.
