I'm thinking of buying a level 4 or 5 trainer that doesn't have a weekly salary of more than $35,000, i was wondering if this would be a wise decision to make? Because i don't want to be in debt again.

You can easily get a lvl 4 trainer with a salary of less than 15k and a sign on bonus of $1k.

It is not wise for a D5 team to go chase lvl 5 trainers. It costs way too much and you only lose a little training by having a lvl 4 rather than 5.

Yep Monkeybiz is right. the average difference in terms of how much you pay to get lvl 4 trainer and lvl 5 trainer is like 300k or more. There isn't a HUGE difference between lvl 4 and 5 trainer anyways, so by getting lvl 4 trainer, you can save a lot of money.

If and only if affording the pay is truly your primary issue, here is a suggestion: trim your roster down from your current carry of 21 players. You may find you can afford a level 5 trainer after you do that. Let's say you sell 8 players with an average salary of $3k - that is already $24k you save each week. You should able to find level 5 trainers with salaries in the range of $20k-$25k. Hope this helps you and good luck.

put all of your playes that you never suite up for games on the TL. there not helping you anyway. I have not lost a game this season, and I only have 10 players. 12 players on your roster is enough. and a LVL 5 trainer is not worth it. I had a LvL 6 trainer with 60k/week (a good deal) but you only get plus 1 pop evey 8 weeks or so. Level 4 is enough.

Problem is he won't be able to sell those 8 guys.

The idea size of a roster is between 10-13 at most. Any more and its just dead weight.

I suggest you just fire anyone that is less than 3k salary that is older than 20 irrespective of potential. They won't sell in the transfer market in any case.
