You play your game. During play one of your players gets either Foul trouble or Injured. At this point does the game engine re-calculate the game or is this just part of a sceniaro playing out to get to the predetermined score?
Sorry if this has been asked before.
Thanks.

I don't know if anyone could really answer this with any degree of certainty except a BB.

what......not even you? lol I've read alot of your posts & agree with alot you have to say.
It may well be only a BB could give some input into this. It would help me understand, alot more, some of the results I see & have expierenced.
My guess would be it does re-calculate as this has an impact on the game, but have no degree of certainty, I guess hence the question.

haha :)
I think that as different events occur the probability of other events occuring change and so in that sense every event that happens causes a recalculation. For example if you score a 3 pointer in the last 3 seconds to tie the game, then the other team might try a different strategy, where as if you missed the 3 pointer they might just try and waste time so the clock runs out. So every goal scored, every rebound, every foul, every injury etc causes the probability of a future event to change.

Hadn't taken the thought that far, as there are natural occuring events in a game which would fall under "Game Plan". Injury & Foul trouble, for me, fall outisde of that. I do however agree with the 3pt shot in the final seconds, would change the next play, but again i would think this would still be with in the flow of the game.

From what I think.
In that 15 minutes before your game, everything is calculated and the score and all injuries are calculated.
The game will have everything ready to say when you watch it.
This must be true or how does the bonus money before cup work?

Thats correct the game is calculated between the time lineups are locked in and the given start time.

This I know. I'm looking more for the calculations with in those 15mins, when a player is in foul trouble or gets an injury, does it re-calculate from that point or is this just part of a scenerio playing out & the foul trouble or injury is just a way of the game getting to the pre-determined score.
Come on, I know why the players lock 15mins before game time

I doubt the BB's will divulge that type of information about the GE but good luck.

Why? What kind of advantage does that give anyone? It's posted in a Forum! It just allows us to understand an element a little better.

Why?
They've generally been very vague about anything game engine related, and there's no reason to believe that they would be any more forthcoming about this.
